Q: Do you have a satisfaction guarantee statement?
A: Yes we do. If you find you are not satisfied with your purchase, please return it to Caswell-Massey within 30 days for a full refund on the cost of the merchandise less shipping and handling. Include the completed return form (enclosed with your shipment) with the items to be returned to the address below:

Q: Are any of your products fragrance-free?
A: Yes, Dr. Hunter?s Body Cleanser. Also, Dr. Hunter Castile Soap is vegetable-based, has no animal ingredients, contains 1% olive oil (soap only) and does not contain any additives, including perfume.
Q: Are any of your products or their ingredients tested on animals?
A: We do not test our products or the ingredients in them on animals. We are listed in the CCIC (Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics) and the PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) directory as a cruelty-free company.
Q: Can you tell me if the facial tonics are alcohol-free?
A: Yes, our Rose Water and Lavender Water are alcohol-free.
Q: Do any of your products contain animal ingredients?
A: All of our floral products, Elixir, and Newport are vegetable-based. All of our other soaps are made with a blend of coconut and palm oils, sometimes with olive oil added. Milk protein is in our milk line and Honey is used in our Goats Milk & Honey products. Silk proteins are found in a few of our hand and body emulsions. Please see the “ingredients” tab of the individual product for a full listing of ingredients.
Q: How long do products last (shelf life)?
A: All of our products must meet the FDA requirement for a two-year shelf life. However, if you ever are dissatisfied with your purchase, just return the unused portion to the place of purchase for a refund or exchange.
Q: I am having an allergic reaction to your product.
A: Please stop using the item and return it to us for a refund.

Q: I have very sensitive skin - can you recommend good soaps to try?
A: Dr. Hunter's Castile Soap-mild, no perfume, contains olive oil for moisturizing.
Goat's Milk & Honey-all-vegetable soap with milk and honey, both are known to be effective skin conditioners.
Q: Is your Sandalwood made from "real" sandalwood or is it an artificial fragrance?
A: Our Sandalwood Essential Oil is in a 10% solution of almond oil. This essential oil is totally derived from natural sandalwood essential oil. Our sandalwood line begins with sandalwood fragrance and has musk and other wood notes to round it out.
Q: What does triple-milled soap mean?
A: Triple-milled refers to the production process that pushes the glycerin by-product back into the soap to make it gentle and mild. The three passes through the milling process also press fragrance in while squeezing water and air out. The result is a dense, long-lasting bar with fragrance that lasts to the final sliver. Caswell-Massey triple-milled soaps do not float. They are mild and gentle. Extruded soaps like Ivory have no glycerin, have lots of air, float and seem to melt quickly in the shower or bath. A 5.2 oz. Bar of our Almond & Aloe Cold Cream Soap can last up to one month in the shower. However, it may crack around the edges as it absorbs moisture. This is not a defect but a sign of a dense, triple-milled soap.
Q: Which is the most concentrated fragrance? The most "staying" power?
A: Our cologne water has a higher concentration of fragrance oil and more "staying power' than our after shave. Perfume - Strongest Eau de Toilet - Strongest Cologne - Stronger After shave - Strong
Q: Can I track my package shipment?
A: You will receive an e-mail directly from UPS with a shipment tracking number and an expected date of delivery. This e-mail is sent on the day the order is shipped (which is typically one to two days after your order was placed on-line (Please keep this in mind when requesting Expedited delivery). Q: How often do you send catalogs ? How can I get on the mailing list?
A: We send out approximately 4 catalogs a year to our customers, plus we include a current catalog in each and every order that we ship.

Q: When should I receive my order?
A: Your order typically ships within 48 hours of our receipt of your order (note we do not ship on Saturday and Sunday). Depending on your location and the type of delivery service you select, your order typically arrives in 3 to 8 days. See Shipping Chart. Occasionally, an item may be temporarily sold out. You will be notified by e-mail if there is an anticipated extended delay in the processing and shipping of your order.
*If your order contains an item that is temporarily sold out, you will be charged shipping & handling for the entire order at time of initial shipment. No additional shipping charges will be incurred.
Q: Is gift wrapping available?
A: Yes. Gift wrapping is available on most Caswell-Massey items. There is a charge of $2.50 for items to be expertly wrapped. All gifts are wrapped in Caswell-Massey green or burgundy paper with ribbon or gold seal. Gift messages are available and are complimentary.

Returns & Exchanges
Q: How do I make a return if I am not satisfied for some reason?
A: Simply return the item to the retail store where you purchased it for an exchange or refund. If you purchased directly from Caswell-Massey via our website or catalog, please return the item to us by a traceable means and request an exchange or refund.
