LX48. Sweet. Soft. Floral. I enjoy this fragrance.

I received a sample of LX48 with my Jockey Club order, and it really stood out. It’s a unique, masculine scent that’s genuinely enjoyable to wear. The projection and longevity are noticeably better than Jockey Club, which was a bit disappointing in that regard. LX48 performs exactly how I’d expect at this price point, and I’ll definitely be picking up a full-size bottle in the future. Love this fragrance

Absolutely love this scent and this paired with the LX48 soap are my morning routine. This scent lasts all day which for me starts at 6am. Yes, this will be my scent for life!

Amazing

I ordered LX48 Eau de parfum for my husband. The fragrance was unique, distinctive and original. I made the purchase based on the reviews of this product which included a description as “long lasting”. When my husband sprayed the fragrance on himself the initial response was “so very distinctive and pleasant. However, that wonderful fragrance lasted for no more than maybe a half hour at best.
Therefore, We were both surprised and disappointed. For the price charged for this fragrance Caswell-Massey should offer a fragrance that has more essential oils that would make the fragrance last for at least half the day. I expected more from this company!
I will not be fooled again. To maintain the reputation of a good company name, a company must produce a reliable and decent product.

When I think of a masculine scent, it’s harder to imagine a better fragrance that matches that description. I am an LX48 user for life!

Great long lasting scent

Good scent, I would make it mind. C-M has good products I have tried VI, 2571 and Sandalwood. Still LX48 is preferred.

The experience with this cologne has been bizarre. I know it sounds crazy and verbose, but when I first smelled this scent my first thought was "This smells like something my Grandma would wear". By the end of the first day I was like, well it isn't super horrible, but I certainly wasted my money on it. I had then read some reviews about it and one said you have to let the scent come to you, which I thought was elitest non-sense. However, it really is spot on, because after the third or forth wearing I was all in on it. There is nothing else like it that I have ever worn. I am not even going to try and describe it because the profile by the company is as close as anything I could say, but at the same time it isn't correct either. I truly do miss wearing this scent on the days I don't wear it. I never get compliments on it which doesn't surprise me, but at the same point it really does last all day, so I would think others must at least smell it. I think this scent is truly just for the wearer.

It is my favorite evening scent!

Overall, a bit of a disappointment. Based on the description, I was expecting a fragrance which was deep and warm, instead I have found the initial leather and tobacco tags to come across to my nose as being rather stale. Fortunately, after an hour or so, it does seem to dry down to a pleasant, almost floral fragrance, but it’s not worth the wait on the whole...

Too sweet and too familiar a scent - like it already exists for a girl in her teens. Men are supposed to smell like sticks and stones and weed and bones
which are all earthy scents. Keep the name, it's mysterious, worldly and manly, plus being unique. Look to unusual herbs, I don't want to smell like a
flower, I want to smell like a weed but not pot, ha ha, or maybe I do!

I seasonally rotated from Number Six to Verbena (and still treasure both) but decided to give LX48 a try when it came out. As soon as there’s a chill in the air, I find LX48 quite comforting - the soap is wonderful, too. This travel size is perfect for taking it on the road. Highly recommended.

Bought this for me since women's scents are too sweet. Hold the phone! This IS a very manly scent. Will be giving it to my son.

My daughter gave me this. She said it just wasn’t something that she liked. Not knowing it was a men’s cologne, I tried it out. Took me a little to get used to but now it’s one of my go to colognes. This woman wears it all the time and gets a massive amount of compliments. I’ve always liked the first year with the smell. I am hooked, now buying another bottle. My 8 ounce tester has lasted forever. A little goes a long ways.

I've loved fragrances for years and have a nice collection. So I don't know how I missed Caswell-Massey all this time! I'm a little embarrassed to admit how many of the men's fragrances I now have, but it's enough to have three absolute favorites, not just among Caswell-Massey scents but among all the scents I have owned. And the LX48 is really at the top with the Ros. I don't usually go for leather-tobacco but in this case it works so well with the violet to produce something unique and beautiful. It's great, simply put.

Fragrance is sweet and powdery.

Since this is a rather expensive scent, I bought the 15 ml size but found it to be worth EVERY penny. I really enjoyed the rich melange of notes, like tobacco, violet :purple_heart:and leather that lasted on my neck and wrist for about eight hours!
This eau de parfum stands FAR APART from today's modern department store fragrances, and it's absence of animal testing (like all CM products) is a super plus.
I'll definitely be saving up for the regular size. Thank you Caswell for creating such a rich, but not overbearing manly parfum and presenting your customers with trial sizes.
FYI: the product arrived well-packaged and within a week of ordering.
