Light and airy, yet dark and mysterious. A unique fragrance that is suited for any time or occasion, and performs beautifully.

From the description I guess I expected more of a citrus scent, but it doesn’t really have that. It is okay, but not what I was expecting from the description.

I love the new to me fragrance and I can’t say enough good things about the timely and helpful customer service! I have been a customer of Caswell-Massey for over 50 years. I used to walk by the store on my way to work many moons ago and it is still one of my favorite places in New York!

I am completely obsessed with this perfume. And I love the name.

Since learning about Caswell-Massey, I have began my journey to sample all of their men's fragrances. What intrigued me about this brand is that they manufacture their products in the USA! Oaire eau de parfum, was one of the few that I had very excited hopes for to be a wonderful scent for me. When I sprayed it on, I initially found it mediocre and not strong enough. Yet, it has grown on me to be considered one of their better, if not in their top 3 winner's circle. The smoky and spicy allure will bring attention to you by folks that are within arms length or perhaps six feet. I have not received any complaints thus far and I enjoy smelling it on myself when it lingers from being sprayed hours ago. This is definitely something I would wear if I wanted to be James Bond's American alternative for evenings or during the fall and winter months.

Was on the hunt for a new scent, liked the notes described. It smells like Terre D’Hermes but more subtle and with a heavier black licorice tone over the top. It wears OK but doesn’t stick with throughout the day. It’s fine.

Love the scent of this new perfume from CM. They got me with the scent profile, so took a chance on a small size spray. The suede in this is on the verge of too much for me, but that does dissipate somewhat.
Smells good, and wears nicely. I tend to spray on my skin before putting on a shirt, and this seemed to linger longer on the shirt than on my skin.
I would love for Caswell-Massey to bring back some of their heritage scents like Aura of Patchouli. That is my all-time favorite scent family.

Oaire is soft but deep, like lying by a forest pool surrounded by ferns. I do pick up tarragon, but it transitions into deeper complexity within a few minutes. Lasts for hours. This could work for anyone looking for a discreet, anchoring, earthy scent. Winner!
