Elixir of Love Luxuries Gift Set

This was a "Thank you" gift for a good friend. I had it mailed directly to her - arrived quickly and was intact. She LOVED it! Said it was the best ever.

Since 1991, Elixir of Love has been my signature scent! I always get comments from people about how amazing I smell!
I love the creaminess of the lotion and the layering of the soap!

I first began using exlixer of love like 20 years ago. So many compliments on the perfume. A stranger sitting next to me stated "I am enjoying smelling you". That was the strangest thing I ever heard but I understood because I also enjoy the smell so much. It's soft and floral is so relaxing. Such a beautiful aroma. So excited to find it again after years of not seeing it in stores. Love it!!

I Love Elixir of Love!

I was very excited to find Elixir of Love and purchased the discovery set, because I shop only perfume houses that have anti-animal-testing policies like Caswell-Massey. I'm giving it three stars, because most of the targeting marketing I got around this fragrance downplayed the lavender (like this ad: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wgH7QkT4jc). Instead, the ads for EoL and the EDT web copy highlight the passionflower, jasmine, and white woods notes, but to me, the lavender takes the lead and never lets up. I'm not a fan of how the lavender presents in this fragrance (it's sharp and powdery), so I just don't reach for the EDT and will find a new home for it and the soap. The body cream has a lovely dry down, though, somehow diffusing the lavender as it sits on the skin, so I do enjoy applying that after a shower before I get into bed. In the morning, it's delicate and only a little powdery. I would still recommend this to anyone who likes powdery lavender fragrances. I just wish the marketing had matched the product. (I ended up ordering a full bottle of Rose instead!)

The fragrance transported me to a happy time when I first discovered Elixir at a shop in Wolfeboro NH. I have kept the empty bottle for many years since the shop closed. Recently I was showing the bottle to my daughter and she quickly offered to search online and found your website. I was delighted and I ordered it immediately. It did not disappoint! I love the scent, the soap and the body cream is simply luxurious!

The soap is excellent, the body cream is great, and the spray is just the right amount of scent. I really enjoy this scent of Elixir of Love. I don't get a headache from using it, some other scents does this to me. I get compliments on this scent on me all the times. The delivery was fast. And the quality of the set is fantastic.

The fragrance spray isn’t overwhelming, the body cream is thick and luxurious and the bar soap is fantastic!

I love this perfume. It has musk in it and I like that. I usually wear it when I’m dressed up, but sometimes there doesn’t have to be an occasion to wear it. I truly love this smell of this perfume. Love the soap smell and is my favorite soap.

I absolutely love the product. Really yummy. I loved the box it came in-however, the outer box had a black stain on it. Like a black smudge on a white box. I tried to rub it off and wouldn't come off. I intended it for a gift. Presentation is everything.

Received this beautiful set yesterday. Shipping was very fast, this set was exquisitely packaged I could smell the fragrance as soon as I opened the box. This is a very feminine soft floral scent, I’m so impressed with this set and how well and just how elegant to set is, makes me feel like a princess when I put this on. This is the only fragrance I’ve used for years. I will use nothing else. It has a light but long lasting scent. I do wish you’d bring back the shower gel rather than the soap.

The Elixer of Love gift set is an excellent value for your money. The soap is richly scented and deep cleansing w/out stripping the skin. I don't know what you guys put in the body cream, but it is pure magic. I have used a lot of body creams from many different brands, but Caswell and Massey body cream is the best. Heals dry skin in just one use and it keeps skin soft and nicely scented. I am also shocked that the Toilette is a Toilette because it lasts like a perfume. I applied once this morning, my 4 spray rule. Twice on the chest, once on the back of the neck and once on my wrist, and I am still smelling this beautiful fragrance. Elixer of Love is a beautiful floral perfume that smells dainty, clean, and fresh. If you love clean floral perfumes that have a Victorian/Edwardian feel to them but still wearable for today's age, give this beauty a try. Also, the bottle is so darling, looks great on any vanity.
