Almost the same as the wood grain sandalwood soap except for the black color. But perfectly fine nonetheless, little difference with scented but still smells amazing.

I’m a long time purchaser who uses Centuries Sandlewood soap exclusively. I just received a new batch. The soaps are no longer individually sealed in plastic, which warns me that manufacturing and packaging has changed for the worse. These bars absolutely will not stay fresh when exposed to the air; plastic kept them fresh. Upon use, my concerns were warranted; the fragrance is noticeably less intense and enjoyable. My wife even agrees. And the feel when using is no longer luxurious; clearly the mix of ingredients has changed.

How tragic that a legacy like this is sacrificed for cost cutting. This is not the soap it once was.

I bought the brown sandalwood three bar set for my husband. He had fallen love with a sandalwood soap by another manufacturer, and they discontinued it. So I was seeking another option and hoping he loved it more. He liked the brown sandalwood, but I just got him the grey sandalwood just to see if he liked it better. He LOVES it. He’s going on a work trip and taking it with him, he loves it so much. So excited to have found this soap! We’ll be buying the 12 pack set soon!

I love the scent but unfortunately the bar is so large it’s hard to keep a grip on it. It’s also difficult to get a thick, rich lather with this soap. Finally, when rinsed off, it leaves my skin feeling differently than I expected.

Although I prefer the look of the woodgrain sandalwood soap in the box that contains a year's supply, it seems to have disappeared. I purchased these cakes of soap and am satisfied with them. Although the site indicates that the woodgrain version is sold out, I hope it will return to the CM offerings, as it is a product that is as beautiful as it is enjoyable to use.

Excellent! My husband really loves thid soap. Sometimes i get him the Explorer’s Set with 3 soaps similar to the sandlewood one.

This soap its great. I wish the scent stayed on the skin longer
