Rose Perfume

I love it, nice scent, not too heavy

I like the Rose perfume very much. It smells like real roses, not an artificial scent. Ordering online was easy and the product shipped promptly. The only qualm I have is the shape of the bottle. It is in a slender glass cylinder that easily tips, falls, and rolls off shelves and counter tops. A bottle with a broader bottom would be better. But the perfume is terrific!

I am a lover of all things rose scented, but this scent is really special. It’s floral, but grounded and not overly sweet. I also purchased the lilac and peony, but this is the one that I put on every day. I will definitely purchase the full size.

This is hands down my new favorite perfume! It's such a beautiful fragrance, wears well, isn't too stout, but even if I use "too much" it's such a natural rose scent that it's not offensive if overused. I've worn it every day since receiving it. Very pleased!

Sadly I didn’t like the fragrance, but the return was seamless. I’ve used soap etc for 30 years- hope to find a new favorite!

It would have been over the top with free scent samples like L'Occitane send out. I want to buy more but I want to smell it first.

I have over 44 rose bushes in my yard, and I love their scent, but I have never been able to find a perfume that would match them. When I was ordering a selection of soaps, I needed to round out my 12 selections so my last choice was the rose soap. Needless to say I was completely won over by its wonderful scent. It was a total surprise. I followed it with ordering the large bottle of rose perfume, and I am truly happy with it.

Rose took me by surprise this season. I bought several floral soaps and a discovery set to explore C-M fragrances, because I learned they have a no-animal-testing policy. I expected "Elixir of Love" to be the winner, because I like white florals and tropical notes (I also have a full-size Bouquet de la Reine by Floris for reference), but the lavender was too strong for my liking. But I couldn't stop smelling the Rose soap. I followed that with buying the travel-size spritzer and am now waiting for my full-size bottle of Rose to arrive. It's fresh and juicy (thanks to the fruity notes) and has the most calming, centering musk and woods base. I grow roses and jasmine in my garden, and this smells like the real thing the morning a rose first opens--nothing indolic or sweaty here. It's simple, straightforward, and easy to wear, so skip if you like "challenging" scents. I don't get any sharp alcohol at first spray, like people often get with rose perfumes, and the fragrance can last on my skin (delicately) for a couple of days. On day two, it wears like a "second skin" on me. I've seen some compare this to Rose Jam by LUSH, and I think this Rose is like Rose Jam's well-read, tea-sipping auntie. She's not gawdy or pretentious, but she is established and comfortable in her skin.

The first note was overshadowed by the smell of alcohol. After that the smell of roses was pleasant. I didn't smell much if any fig in the colonge. The fragrance in the rose soap was much better.

I’m in love with this fragrance. It feels like a second skin and I was born with it. I always get compliments and everyone is curious what is the name of my perfume. I wish there would be an addition of body lotion and deodorant with the same smell ✨

I bought trial sizes of Beatrix, Orchid and Marem to try. I fell in love w/ Beatrix and the Orchid and bought full bottles. If you love roses give Beatrix a try. It is such a lovely true rose combined w/ fresh green notes of bergamot, creamy fig and a beautiful musk dry down. I love both Orchid and Beatrix and hope you continue to make them. I really love the mini sizes; they are great to carry in a purse or for travel. All of Casswell and Massey fragrances are very natural smelling, just like being in a garden.

Beatrix is not a new age rose or an old fashioned rose. Beatrix is a living rose, photorealistic and perfect. It is not soapy or old fashioned nor is it fruity and fresh like so many post modern rose fragrances are on the market today. Beatrix captures the living rose in all her perfection.

The smell is unique and lasts fairly long not over powering it’s very nice I get lots of compliments
