love the soap, my skin is soft, smooth, afterwards it's a relaxing

The rose scent is weak. The size of the soap bar is more guest size not bath size for the price. Back in 1980s thru 2010, I shopped often at Caswell-Massey for their Almond soap and became disappointed by the shrinking size. Now that I tried their rose scented bar, this will be my last purchase.

I love this luxurious soap.

I have never liked rose perfumes even though I grow roses. The rose soap was last minute fill in for an order. To my surprise it was my favorite of all the soaps.I now have the large bottle of the perfume and love it!

It’ lathers up beautifully. The scent is divine.

This soap is really nice. The frangrance is a subtle rose and it is softer than other hard milled soap. This one did not leave a grainy feel in the tub.

I never use scented soaps, which is why I buy my soaps from Caswell Massey, you always have a good supply of unscented soaps for me.

I’ve been using this soap for years. It’s fragrant but not too much and leaves my skin soft. Another wonderful product from Caswell Massey.

The rose soap is wonderful but I enjoy all of the CM floral soaps. I also have the rose spray fragrance. I have used all of these for years and will continue to do so. Give them a try.

This lathers easily and the fragrance lingers on the skin. It is a rosy floral with spicy notes, so it's not too sweet.

Can you ever have enough? So light and delicate is this scent. This soap is very cleansing, yet , no tightening, drying or irritation of your skin. Almost everything irritates my skin! C&M developed a perfect balance. I do wish it came in a larger size. 5.+ oz. like the other "bath" size bars.

I've been a big fan of the Beatrix line since day one. The soap is very gentle on my skin and it leaves a very fresh, classy scent. I usually apply the lotion and perfume from the same line right after. It transports me to the Rose Garden at the NYBG everyday, all year round. Please do not ever discontinue it!

This is a gentle, long lasting soap with a wonderful rose scent. The scent is true, not too sweet, and slightly spicy. It is the best rose scent I’ve experienced.

The Beatrix Rose fragrance is absolutely beautiful. I have the perfume as well. I wish that they would make a matching lotion or body cream in the same fragrance.

So glad this soap is back in stock - it's very difficult to find a pleasantly-rose scented soap anywhere that's not mixed with something else. Quality is excellent here - the shape, size, and fact that it's triple milled cements my decision to buy. Don't hesitate... it won't be in stock forever!

This is a gift, so I won’t be able to use the bars I purchased. As described, the new bars are half the size of the old bars. So, yes, there has been a significant price increase. Our experience is that smaller bars don’t last as long, because the smaller a bar gets the faster it “melts” in the shower. We don’t expect two small bars to last as long as one large bar. The scent seems stronger than the old bar. I hope our recipient will like it as much, but I sure didn’t have the same blissful reaction I usually had smelling Beatrix Rose right out of the box. The box is labeled simply “Rose,” not Beatrix Rose, which makes me wonder if they will bring back Ros (another absolutely heavenly soap) and any of the other rose scents. I probably won’t purchase this for myself anymore, but if the intended recipient still loves it, we will continue to purchase it for her.

You cannot go wrong in buying this light, rose scented bar soap! A lively gift for a friend!
