All the changes to your formulas make my head spin. There is the old version. There is the new one, there is the heritage version. There is the EDP. It is absolutely crazy making confusing. I like the heritage tricorn and I was just informed that you are discontinuing that. Whenever Caswell Massey hired the person who is apparently the Director of “forward-looking“ trends, I think this was a terrible mistake. We don’t need Caswell Massey to make scents and aromas along the lines of what we can get in abundance from all the other designer makers out there. Caswell Massey would be wise to provide the good, tried-and-true products that it did for decades, and certainly to not pull products from your inventory so quickly the way you are doing it now. I question your entire business model regarding this. I won’t be buying products in the future, because you are really messing with what is good, and starting to deliver more predictable (in your language, “updated”) products without the formerly unique qualities that made CM truly special and *dependable*, rather than just run-of-the-mill “modern” designer derivatives that are profusely available elsewhere. Such a shame. Thank you. Yes, I am aware that the heritage tricorn that I purchased is indeed one of your newer products. But why pull it from the shells so quickly? This is where your company is failing. Customers need to count on a company for continuing to provide the products that the customer appreciates and enjoys. All in all, I think that the revisions and changes and modifications and discontinuations are a sign of discombobulated marketing and R&D departments. Oh well… Sigh.
