In a creative collaboration with the master gardeners at the New York Botanical Garden and renowned perfumer Laurent Le Guernec, Caswell-Massey has been able to capture the authentic scent of the world’s oldest living orchid - the living floral Vanda Giganticus orchid that blooms in the Garden. Developed to celebrate the opening of the New York Botanical Garden’s Orchid Show, these treasured flowers are prized for their tonal color and lightly powdery fragrance.

As a longtime fan of Caswell-Massey, I took a chance on this VIC fragrance, scent-unsmelled, because rarely has Caswell-Massey failed me. I am so glad I did! It's a delightfully woodsy, spicy, green, floral--- not cloying or rude. I'm a bit boho/artsy/outdoorsy and VIC checks all the boxes. It's delicately bold and suits my personality. It's a new favorite, I immediately ordered another (big!) bottle.
